It’s Time to REALLY THRIVE in Your God-Given Potential!

(Cue the sound of angels singing…)

I mean, why not, right? If God has called you to it, it’s up to you to cultivate the gift inside you. Having some help along the way is NORMAL! In fact, most people don’t realize the full potential of their gift until someone else sees it in them first.

Think about David, he had NO idea who he was supposed to be until Samuel called it out of him. Even then, Saul tried to get him to wear armor that didn’t fit.

Ever felt like that? Maybe you’ve thought things like...

→ I don’t sound/lead like “so and so”

→ I can’t do what “so and so” does

→ Maybe if I do this, I’ll be noticed or recognized.

→ I’m not that good, or as good, so I’m not going to even try.

It’s a sly little trick of Satan’s to try to get you to use your gift on someone else’s terms, or “in someone else’s armor”, or to give it up all together.

Nah. No more of that. You are who God has called you to be, and with a little bit of direction, coaching, and support, you can walk boldly in your calling.

I gotta be real with you though...

Truly walking in your gift isn’t always as glamorous as it seems. If you’ve already taken the first step to improving in your singing and worship leading, you know that it’s more than just getting behind a mic. You’re called. There’s no doubt about it. And with that, there is still a good amount of elbow grease on your part.

WHY?

Reason #1:

Lots of vocal lessons out there aren’t necessarily tailored to the every Sunday morning worship leader, and if you wanted personalized feedback you’d be investing a whole lot for it. How about training for worship leaders? Learning to arrange a set list that flows well, developing the confidence to lead with passion, or finding good Godly mentorship from trusted leaders, isn’t always the easiest to come by.

Reason #2:

Since there’s so much to learn, it’s impossible to know what you need when you need it. Trying to do it all at once is extremely overwhelming. The reality is, if you’re already on a worship team, you probably want to make improvements in your singing and leading by the next worship service! So, you don’t really have the time to sift through hours and hours of content on the internet, or go to countless lessons or conferences to FINALLY get to what you really needed.

Reason #3:

It’s easy to be overcome by self-doubt because you’re doing it ALONE. Of course you have friends and people who love you, but you most likely don’t have the luxury of being surrounded by other worship leaders and vocalists all pushing each other to grow in their skill and confidence while striving to be all that Jesus called them to be. COMMUNITY IS KEY. We aren’t supposed to do this alone.

I've been there, and I get it.

And that’s exactly why we created WorshipVox: an online membership community that gives you a customized path to growth for your singing AND worship leading, the actual resources to help you improve, and personalized feedback from trusted mentors to make sure you’re headed in the right direction.

“A Heart on Fire and a Mind Ablaze”

"This represents both God given and purposely created ways of engagement working harmoniously together to worship, grow and serve. In relation to our craft which is leading music worship, we have the invitation to incorporate both heart and mind to come to a better understanding of why we do what we do. We can’t just be all heart and no mind and vice versa. It has to be both and. The Holy Spirit empowers the spontaneous and supernatural as well as the methodical and academic." - Raquel Vega, WorshipVox Mentor
